Technical Note: Trigger SCCM Evaluation

Required Agent Version: 4.0.3 or greater.
Solution
Windows hosts managed by SCCM can be triggered to run all of its Configuration Baseline evaluations. Via WMI, TriggerEvaluation is called on all SMS_DesiredConfiguration objects on the Windows host. This option is available for Windows 7, 8, 10, Windows-Server-2012, Windows-Server-2008-R2, and Windows-Server-2012-R2.
Windows hosts must have the agent installed.
Scope
Required Agent Version: 4.0.3 or greater.
Solution
- Create or modify the desired scan under Policy > Policy Configuration in the Windows tab, select category Operating System
- Click on the applicable Windows Operating System(s)
- Click the checkbox for Trigger SCCM Evaluation
- Modify the contents of the SCCM Evaluation Label if desired
- Associate the scan to an endpoint compliance policy.
- The scan can also be scheduled to run. See Schedule a Scan in the Online Help or Administration and Operation Manual.
