Technical Note: CLI credentials not filled in for device model

Description
Master logs contain message "CLI credentials not filled in for device model".

This message will print if:
  • CLI credentials are not populated under the Credentials tab of the device model in Topology.
  • The device is not recognized in Topology (appears as a "?").




Solution
If model displays properly, verify credentials are populated in the model.

If displaying as a "?" add the proper mappings so the device is recognized: 
1.  Determine if the device is supported in more recent code versions.  For instructions, refer to the related KB article below. 
2.  If the particular model is not yet supported, refer to the related KB article below for options.
