Description This article describes an issue that occurs while disabling the Explicit Web Proxy.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution

While disabling the Explicit Web Proxy under Network, the user may see the 'Entry is used ' error as below:

This is due to the reference to the interface, which has been configured as a listening interface in the Explicit Web Proxy. To disable it, the proxy policy needs to be deleted (disabling the proxy policy will not help in this case)

Navigate to Policy & Objects -> Proxy Policy and delete the Policy.

The Explicit Web Proxy can then be disabled.
