breakdown

Have a forigate50 .had made a firmware upgrade to 2.50 build 269 But didnt think was better then my earlier versin 2.36 build 085. So I would downgrad my fortigate 50 to the earlier version. I did , but something has gone wrong, cant connect to the device at all(web or cli) The status LED is blinking constantly, totally crashdown :-(. What can I do, Please? Lars

Plug the console cable in, connect to it using hyperterminal. you will probably find that it is sitting at a prompt with boot failure. You will need to upload the firmware to the unit using tftp, see the manual or knowledgebase on how to do this.
