About Upgrading 50A 2.5MR11 to 2.8 MR7

Hi, I am trying to upgrade my 50A 2.5 MR11 to 2.8 MR7, but the foritgate prompts out that all my configuration will be lost during this upgrade. I have read the release note for 2.8 MR7 and it mentions that 2.5 MR11 is able to upgrade to 2.8 without problems right, therefore, is that mean once I upgrade to the 2.8, I have to restore the configuration backup ?? Thanks for help

that message was a bug, that was fixed in lat 2.8 releases, so it could have been safely ignored, Which you obviously have found out by now anyway.

Yes, that is a stupid message. I have read through nearly all the release notes to find out anymore hints on that .... And now I am safe. Shit. Besides, does 2.8 MR8 stable enough or not ?? I heard a few rumors that about 2.8 is not so stable, but I would say I am ok with it ... And I am happy with the new look of the web interface. Nice.

I would say in my opionion, that it is now stable. With very few bugs now. worth upgrading now.
