VIP Issue

Dears, I have two public IP address pool available, one in 201.238.196.XX/29 segment and the other segment 190.196.131.XX/29 Wan1 interface is assigned an IP segment 201.238.196.XX The question is, how I can create a VIP to an internal server ip segment with 190.196.131.xx?. Since WAN1 is assigned an IP segment 201.xxx Both segments IPs are assigned to the same link by internet service provider. I welcome your comments

Welcome to the forums. With VIPs the Fortigate will answer any calls to that address as long as it' s pointed to that interface, so if the ISP is sending to you, the FGT should receive it, happily.

Ok, then the ISP should point to the IP address of the WAN fortigate?. I mention this because it was what support told me. " On the other hand the detail we have is not that the public addressing not work is that to make it work the way you want it, it is necessary that network segment is routed to the Fortigate wan1 Ip 201 238 196 242 so that it can take as secondary segment and assign the pool to the Virtual IP, now your network segment has a default gateway which configuration effects need not useful. It is necessary that your carrier in core router creates a route which send the 190.196.131.144/29 network segment to the 201 238 196 242. This is already done?"
