Stop Spam

Hi everyone,

we have fortigate200D in Our network and we are using Exchange 2010 server 

our client in my network complain to me they are receiving spam and virus email daily 

how to configure email filtering correctly to  stop spam emails.

do you have SSL inspection enabled with deep inspection for SMTPS?

i dont know is SSL for SMTP enabled or not because i dont have more information 

please how to check SSL for SMTP if enabled.

You are scanning traffic between the clients and the Exchange server.

I don't see much of a chance without changing your network layout. As I said, I believe, your clients are connecting to the Exchange server through MAPI, which the FortiGate can not scan. If you could bring the FortiGate between your TMG and the Exchange server, you could apply scanning to SMTP-traffic and have all incoming SPAM-mails be marked as such.

okay guys,

i need want to remove TMG permanent  and install fortigate200D to face internet

please help me to configure it correctly to allow:

 1- internet depending may network diagram.

2- make exchange send and receive email securely

3- allow mobile to send and receive email.

 i have 2 vlans one for server(192.168.200.0) and one for clients(15.10.10.0)

i have public IP Addresss i need configure fortigate200D to allow internet for both vlans and allow exchange to send and receive emails.
