Any possibility to get old GUI back? New one is seriously ugly and hurt my eyes...

IMHO In a production business env you should not upgrade to any new release unless it's a do or die must have feature that you need.

What was the downgrade like? Total rebuild? Any issues after the downgrade?

Hi,

I've downgraded the 500D HA cluster this morning to 5.2.5, and I'm pleased to say that it looks like everything went just fine. Downgrade process was automatic, just like the upgrade, both cluster members were downgraded seamlessly. The configuration was kept, I didn't even have to restore my old configuration which I've backed up before upgrading to 5.4.

I will post here if I notice any problems in the next few days.

Cheers,

Slavko

I successfully downgraded two 1000C units. Most of my config was left intact after the downgrade. I did have to re-enable some of the features and redo the replacement messages I had customized. Other than that, I concur that the downgrade is pretty much as easy as the upgrade.

UnDocumented

does anyone recommend to upgrade on 200D?

If you don't need a new feature, don't upgrade before the 5.4.3..

do not expect this now release unless you want try a fresh..

it's totally an unstable sh*t...

I don't understand why FTNT so fast put out the GA for now..

I thought it will pass 7~8 RC build tests for better GA...

Hi

We have a lot of problem with this firmware 5.4.

We updated our 300D cluter in 5.4 and we have a big problem with HA it crash the cluster and be have to go in our datacenter to restart fortigate manually.

We have problem with IPSEC VPN connection (in agressive mode) looks ok but nothing works.

Some policy have been deleted during the update 5.2.4 to 5.4 !!!

There are UTF8 problem in adress...

The interface is super but to many bugs!

I have a case for the HA problem with the support.

I think i'll come back to 5.2.4 because it's not possible to work with this firmware.

I also did the update on 5 Fortigate 100D without problem (there is no agressive VPN and no HA)

Regards
