[solved] How can i configure an working dhcp-server on my fortiswitch 448E?

Hello all,

fortiswitch wie OS7.0.1

the foritiswitch is running in standalone mode, because with fortilink all layer3 traffic goes via the fortigate. Really my 60E does not have enough power for these things. In addition, the units are dependent on each other. If the cable for the Fortilink is disconnected, the switch also no longer functions.

I setuped dhcp-server successfully with this guide: https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiswitch/7.0.1/administration-guide/559603/configuring-a-dhcp-...

I just don't understand how to tell the DHCP to assign a VLAN, or how to tell it to distribute addresses as well.

The ports have configured the VLAN of the different DHCP servers. But no address is assigned to the clients. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks and best regards

Doesn't anyone use the DHCP server on the Fortiswitch?

To get the DHCP-Server working, you have to delete all VLAN's on menu "switch -> vlans" and set only the vlan's unter "System -> Network -> Interface -> VLAN".
