Migrate FortiMail 60D to FortiMail-200F

Hello,

we use the trade in and of course of the EOL 60D and buyed the 200F

How can we migrate / transfer the settings from the old device to the new one ?

Any ideas ?

With 2 hardware series inbetween, I doubt that there is a common OS version for both FML.

BUT you are lucky! Reading the Release Notes reveals that v6.4.8 is available for both models.

From v7 on, the FML-60D is no longer supported.

 

So, I would bring both FML to v6.4.8, even if you plan to upgrade to the latest v7.4 on the new hardware later, get the configs and manually transfer the settings from one to the other.

Manually because the port names will be different between models. I use WinMerge for this quite often.

Note that the config file of the new FML-200F will be plain factory default. It's needed anyway.

Then restore the edited new config file to the new hardware and watch how it goes.
