Is it possible to increase the FG-120G virtual domain range?
The FG-120G datasheet shows that its virtual domain has a default of 10 and a maximum of 10. It is possible to increase the virtual domain from 10 to higher?

The max supported VDOM is 10 for this model and hence this cannot be increased even if you consider applying an additional VDOM license. As a litmus test, the absence of the below command under "config system global" indicates that the device does not support expanding the VDOM license capacity.
# execute upd-vd-license <license key>
I hope this answers your query.
Thanks

I don't have an FG-120G device. How can I know that this device supports or does not support expending virtual domains?

General design rule with FTNT products so far at least 'D' - 'G' series, is anything below FG-1000x is limited to 10 VDOMs. If you need to have ability expanding the number of VDOMs beyond that, it has to be 1000E/F/G(? may not exist) or above model.

Hello,
Unfortunately it is not possible to increase the maximum limit of virtual domains above 10 (FortiGate 120G). The command "execute upd-vd-license" is not supported by FortiGate 120G hardware platform either.

The best document to refer to is the device datasheet for the specific model. For example, 120G support for the virtual domain is as below:
default/max=10/10
Whereas as per data sheet for 2000E device is as below:
default/max=10/500 //this means that one can request/apply for additional VDOM support extension.
I hope this helps.
Thanks
