IPSEC FC vpn / PPTP VPN client to site connects but com drops

Hi , 

I have a user successfully connects to PPTP or IPSEC FC vpn. 

after connecting and trying to ping a host on remote network the user gets no reply . 

trafic log on router shows the following error from the host on remote network 

iprope_in_check() check failed, drop

I've attached a picture of the traffic log that I think correspond to my ping requests (according to the time and destination) but the destination on the reply does not correspond with the internal IP range allocated to the VPN.

IPSEC vpn monitor shows data received but no data sent.  

any help is much appreciated.
