Hi,
I've got FortiExtender connected to a switch that is connected to the Fortigate.
The FortiExtender works great and is a part of the sdwan (checked and working).
In the Extender menu it shows as online but in the Topology and in the Dashboard the Extender shows as Red (Offline)
Reading simmilar past post:
1. I've got NTP set on that port and the Extender syncs clock from it
2. I got CAPWAP enabled on the port and the Extender mode is CAPWAP.
what can make it look offline?
Additional info: FortiExtender is connected on its own vlan and Security Fabric and ping are marked as allowed.
Thanks,
Lior.
Start by simply rebooting the device. Unplug it, wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue. Make sure the Ethernet cable connecting the extender to the router or switch is properly plugged in at both ends. If possible, try a different cable to rule out any issues with the cable itself.
Remember, your brand is more than just a logo or a tagline; it's the embodiment of your company's values, mission, and unique selling propositions. The right professional branding service, like Logo traffic, can help you craft a brand that stands out and connects with your audience.
Rebooted the device many times and it was unplugged for a while when i hanged it on the wall... ;)
Unfortunately, it didn't help and device still shows as offline (while working just fine)
