Hi everyone today on morning about 8 o clock the internet stopped to work and I could not access to the fortigate I thought that there is a loop but I could to get an IP address from fortigate DHCP so I unplugged and plugged the power from the device but still nothing worked just after 10 minute I succeed to connect to the fortigate to see the CPU working on 99-100 % for something like 5 minute and suddenly everything started to work well the same thing happened yesterday more or less on the same time there is any option to know what happened ?
thanks for any help

What device we are talking about?
Which Firmware you use?
Do you use diag sys top to see which process causes the high load?
fortigate 60D
Firmware Version v5.2.5,build701
I could not connect to the fortigate to run any command I wonder if there any way to see the problem in system log
You said " just after 10 minute I succeed to connect to the fortigate to see the CPU working on 99-100 % for something like 5 minute" So i think you are connected to FG. You must connect via SSH Console to execute the cli command. I have also a FG60D with the latest Firmware but haven't yet seen this behavior. Which UTM features are enabled? IPS/Antivirus /Scheduled Vulnerability Scan? This causes sometimes heavy loads to the cpu.
