" A duplicate entry already exists" when adding VIPs

Hello, We are just in the process of installing a FG-50B, but am having problems with simple port forwarding. I create a VIP as follows: NAME: ssh_test EXTERNAL INTERFACE: wan1 TYPE: Static NAT EXTERNAL IP ADD/RANGE: 0.0.0.0 MAPPED IP ADD/RANGE: 10.11.1.1 Now, when I click OK, I receive the following: " A duplicate entry already exists." I only have one other VIP entry, which has a different name, different ' MAPPED IP ADD/RANGE' and is also port forwading to port 25. How can this be a duplicate? Thanks in advance.

the forums. With VIPs, you either have a single all inclusive, or several port forwards. You cannot mix the two. It has nothing to do with the name. You cannot forward a port if a non port forward VIP is in place. Likewise, you cannot add a total VIP if a port forward already exists. One, or several others is the case here.

Hi rwpatterson, Thank you for the reply. I think it makes sense now . I have managed to add more VIPs by declaring a port, so that seems ok. Thanks again.
