Hi,
I am using application filtering and https scanning on a fortigate 300c. the application control list has the applications for team viewer specifically allowed though the rest of the category is blocked.
when a user tries to connect to teamviewer the application just sits without doing anything and on the analyser I can see constant attempts to access an ip address - which on investigation is ping3.teamviwer.com and is dynamic so can come from various different country locations, as this IP address isn't resolved on the Fortigate to an fqdn I cant add it to the https scan ignore lists as its dynamic-
anyone else had problems with team viewer or LogMeIn when using https scanning ? and does anyone have any ideas to help me get this working ?
