Prepping for a Fortinet Deployment and came across an odd issue with FortiClient- Zero Trust Fabric Agent and EMS Cloud. Currently working with Fortinet TAC, but not getting anywhere with them.
FortiClient Versions tested: 7.2.2 and 7.2.3
EMS Cloud version 7.2.2
Essentially, Forticlient becomes unregistered or disconnected from EMS cloud (deregistering the device within EMS, disconnecting within FortiClient, reinstallation of application) and shortly after that happens (usually under 1 minute) the device displays a 'Network is Off' notification from FortiClient and loses a majority of network connectivity. The device cannot ping the gateway of its lan or access much of anything, however, oddly enough current sessions such as a screen connect remote session will persist.
The FortiClient Configuration is very bare bones, and really only contains VPN Profiles, which aren't in use as the firewalls aren't deployed. We've ruled out conflicting software by using an out of the box machine. Devices are all Windows 10 and 11 Pro.
Has anyone seen anything like this before with FortiClient?
