What is the maximum amount of access points that can be used in meshed wireless network? Is it the same maximum value that is mentioned in fortigate's datasheet value "maximum access points"? And is this value total or tunnel mode from datasheet? Or is this value of maximum meshed APs totally some different and not related to maximum number of total APs?

You can add as many FAPs as MESH LEAFs, however suggested is 4 leaf's.
This limit is also based on your controller, say you are using FGT80C, then max APs that can be managed by controller is 16.
