Lenovo Thinkpad X13 Gen 6 can not vpn via Foticlent.

I bought two Lenovo Thinkpad X13 Gen 6 laptops two months ago. Neither of them can use VPN with Foticlient. Meanwhile, other company laptops like the Dell 3450, Acer P4/P6, and Thinkpad T14s can all use it. I'm certain the preshared key and username/password are correct. Please help me fix this error. Only these models are affected.

Hello,

Please share the below info:

What is the VPN type? SSL or IPSec Dial Up

What is the version of the FortiClient you are using?

Also, share the KB version of Windows..

Thank You

I used vpn type IPsec.

Version:  7.4.2.1737 but I tried other version 7.0.0 and newest version still got problem.

7.4.2 has several known issues. Try 7.4.5 instead, or if you are using the free version then try 7.4.3.

But this version I used for many pc/laptop. Still can.

The known issue may be related to some drivers and not to others. That's why you should try newer version.

Feels like this is caused by Lenovo. (TPM issue maybe)

Have you tried resetting the Network settings and BIOS settings? (Don't forget to restart after resetting.)

Are there any System event logs hitting the Firewall? Can you share if any logs are visible during this issue?

If no logs are showing, then please share the "diagnose debug" logs.

Can be related to the NIC driver. You can verify this by connecting via a different network card.

I'd recommend opening a support ticket and attaching FortiClient debug logs along with FortiGate diagnostics. And before doing that, I'd also advise on following the suggestion on upgrading to the latest available version of FortiClient.
