Fortimail Connection Refused

I create 2 fortimails with server mode, and I use 1 dns server which contains 2 dns for each of those fortimails. I have configured the mx record, A record and reverse for each dns. however, I still can't send emails between fortimails. it always shows a log saying "connection refused" by the destination server, I'm trying to understand the log, it seems the relay ip address is pointing to the ip dns server and not to the fortimail ip address. did I miss something in my configuration?connection refused.PNG

Hi mucasgracias,

I'm sorry that your setup doesn't work as expected.
With the given information it is not possible to identify the reason for your problem.

Maybe it is one of these things...
- the domains are not correctly configured on the devices
- the access control policies deny the communication
- a greylisting problem occurs
- a tcp-port problem exists (one node uses SMTP-SSL, the other does not)
- or something completely different

without knowing what is configured and deployed it's hard to recommend anything
A diagram, IP plan etc. would help to understand your setup better.

Thanks, Jochen
