I just had a brand new Fortigate 61F with Unified Threat Protection subscription, arrive from the supplier, this week.
Went through the registration process on the Fortinet website to find that the Hardware Warranty has only 6 months remaining and that the Firmware & General Updates and the Enhanced support both expired 3 months ago.
The response from Fortinet support personel was that I had to take it up with the supplier.
It transpires that while Fortinet products are on the suppliers shelves, the warranty starts ticking away after 89 days. So if you happen to be shipped a product that has been on the shelf for 12 months, you don't get any warranty!
How is this even legal in Australia?
Absolutely terrible customer treatment Fortinet!

I am sorry to hear about that. The best place to discuss is with the sales engineers
