Hello,
I am planning on using the fortiap 433g for a warehouse. I want to use 3rd party antennas,
Ventev M6060060D4D3620FP and Ventev M6060060MO1D43620
Does anyone have experience with these antennas? Are they compatible with the 433G?
Thanks,

Hello again mcm2590,
I found this solution. Can you tell us if it helps, please?
In FortiAP v7.2.3 and from 7.4.0, it is possible to configure third-party antennas by selecting a "Custom" option for certain FortiAP models, including the FAP-433G. Here’s how you can configure third-party antennas:
Access FortiAP Configuration:
Select Custom Antenna: In the antenna configuration section, choose the "Custom" option for the antenna type.
Input Antenna Specifications: Enter the specific gain and other relevant parameters of the third-party antennas you are using (e.g., gain in dBi).
Adjust TX Power: Ensure that the target TX power is set appropriately, considering the gain of the third-party antennas to comply with regulatory EIRP limits.
Regarding compatibility, while the FortiAP-433G supports custom antenna configurations, you should verify the physical and electrical compatibility of the Ventev antennas with the FortiAP-433G. This includes checking connector types and ensuring that the antennas meet the operational frequency range of the FortiAP-433G.
If you have further questions or need specific guidance, consulting with Fortinet support or a network specialist familiar with your setup would be beneficial.
