FortiGuard Web Filter Question

Hi All,

Quick question, do the FortiGuard web filter categories also contain blocked search terms? Or do we have to enter blocked search terms manually into web policies?

Fortiguard web filter categories are just classifying domain names.  You can enable the "enforce safe search" options to help but remember for this to be truly effective as well as using blocking search terms, you must use deep-packet inspection because the FortiGate has to be able to decrypt the HTTPS traffic in order to see the search information in the packets.
