FortiAnalyzer 5.2.5 weird messages

Today I upgraded our FortiAnalazer 1000C to OS 5.2.5 Since then the messages under Event Log->VPN  are not readable any more.

In the screenshot you can see what I mean. Any idea what is causing this ?

I would strongly suggest you dump the 5.2.5 version and move to 5.4.  It is amazingly better.  I'm running it on a FAZVM so maybe that is the reason.  But the UI, searching, pretty much everything is much easier to use.  You can download a copy of the FAZVM and test it for 30 days.  I think you will be much happier.  I know, .0 release from Fortinet can be risky, but this time the did it right.  I would say it was easier for me because we had an 100C which is no longer supported so I abandoned it in place and went to the FAZVM with a clean DB.  As a result I didn't need to spend any time waiting for DB rebuilds, etc.  Plus running the VM, I have way more IOPs available (via the SAN) so log searching is super fast.

Looks like something is broken there.

How did you the upgrade to 5.2.5?

There is an official upgrade path at http://docs.fortinet.com/d/fortianalyzer-v5.2.5-upgrade-guide
