Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue. Currently, our Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools Product Update is not updating.
According to the web filter log, Fortigate is blocking update.cloud.2d585.cdn.bitdefender.net, which is one of the required URLs for updating the agent.
I've allowed the URL, but the update still won't go through. Is anyone else having this issue, and are there any further steps that need to be taken to allow the update?
Have a good day and thank you in advance!

Could you please have a look and tell me if it helped you?

Hey mhrth,
you could try to exempt *bitdefender* completely to see if that helps.
In addition, you can check the 'blocked' logs to see WHY the traffic is blocked (such as due to a specific category being matched that you block), and try to work from that angle:
- category override (have bitdefender URLs classed as a different/allowed category)
- request that the webfilter category be changed with FortiGuard:

Hi mhrth,
The wildcards used look to be incorrect based on the logs.
For example *.update.cloud.2d585.cdn.bitdefender.net/ will yield different results than update.cloud.2d585.cdn.bitdefender.net/.
Can you remove the wildcards and use *.update.cloud.2d585.cdn.bitdefender.net/?
You may check the article https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-URL-Filter-expressions/ta-p/192746 for more info on the regular expression usage.
Regards,
Vignesh.
