Automate WAP Reboot

Hi, does anyone know of a way I can restart/reboot a 201F series access point on a schedule?  Like have it automatically bounce at 3 in the morning monthly?

Thanks very much for any help,

Hello @mtumolo_73

You can configure FortiAPs to automatically reboot when they are stuck in an AP Controller (AC) discovery dead loop.

The following CLI commands have been added to configure automatic AP reboot:

config wireless-controller timers
  set ap-reboot-wait-interval < integer >
  set ap-reboot-wait-time < hh:mm >
  set ap-reboot-wait-interval2 < integer >
end

Ref: https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortiap/7.4.4/fortiwifi-and-fortiap-configuration-guide/984226/co...

Is there any reason you want to reboot the APs?

Best Regards,

Hi

In addition to @akumar02 method, the below should also work.

execute wireless-controller reset-wtp ...

You just need to configure it in a daily scheduled automation stitch.
