Any partners from Shanghai, China on here?

I am planning to deploy a FortiGate or FortiWiFi firewall to an office in Shanghai, China. Is anybody on here a partner/reseller from that area of the world? Does anybody know if the " Great Firewall of China" gets in the way of IPSec VPNs at all, or should it be alright to connect them up to points outside of China?

I did a deployment of a Fortigate and Forticlients in China with VPN abroad (Netherlands) had no connectivity issues. (IPsec and SSL-VPN).

Great to hear on the IPSec VPNs. I' ve only had our local person do some initial research, but it looks like I can get two different service providers to the office no problem (China Telecom and China Unicom), and both offer FTTH and FTTB service with static IPs, so things should be fast and reliable. Did you buy the FGT locally or pre-configure and ship it there? What did you do for local warranty and support? I opened a ticket with Fortinet customer service asking about moving a service contract to another region and partner, and the reply was to contact sales and then the ticket got closed.

I always purchase Fortigate firewall locally (at Hong Kong), set up the WAN IP, and then send to China branch office. I use this method to deploy 10 offices in China, all are using China Telecom with fixed IP. The whole network (VPN) operations 8 years since 2003.
