we have a few fortitoken-400 which we have been using with nhs mail 2FA
one of the tokens is saying "You've entered incorrect
PINs too many times. Use a different sign-in option or Contact your IT person "
removed the token from user profile
try added it back but still get the same error

Yes that would do it but that is traditional MFA, fortitoken 400 is FIDO2 complaint which gives you password less authentication. You won’t have that with fortitoken mobile
