Hello,
Do you get any error while creating VLAN interface? Moreover, you may consider to create a VLAN interface in CLI:
config system interface
edit <interface name>
set vdom <vdom name>
set ip <ip address>
set interface <parent interface>
set vlanid <vlanid>
next
end

same error with command line
maximum entry is reached
I think due to evaluation license limited to 3 interfaces.
Bad news for me I will delete the vm and try something else to replace my pfsense in my lab
thx for your help

Hello,
It is actually documented:
You may consider to create 2 regular interfaces and 1 VLAN interface for testing purposes.

Unfortunately, It is limited to 3 Physical Interface, Creating a new interface like VLAN etc., There will be an error of Maximum Entries if your VM is registed in Eval license.
