I'm trying to restore my configuration for FortiClient on macOS Big Sur but I'm having no luck doing that. Once I click on restore and then ok the app hangs and stops responding until restarted. Once restarted the new configuration isn't loaded.
I also tried using fcconfig command line utility as mentioned in https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/6.4.3/xml-reference-guide/10217/backing-up-and-restor...and it's returning an error saying
invalid option -- iIf I don't use the -i 1 option I get this error upon restoring:failed to attain lock Can anyone please help me with this. I'll be grateful for any advice!Nominating a forum post submits a request to create a new Knowledge Article based on the forum post topic. Same here. It hangs eternally even full disk access permission has been granted.
Same here. The OP usage of the command is not correct though.
The correct is: sudo /Library/Application\ Support/Fortinet/FortiClient/bin/fcconfig -m all -f <filename.conf> -o import -d
But even with that, the command hangs and stops responding until restarted...
