Stuck during connection

I have installed FortiClient 6.4.0.0851 on KDE NEON (5.21). After I have entered my password, as blue Disconnect button shows up, but the Status is still Connecting and the VPN connection is not established. I know the settings are correct because on a Windows 10 machine I am able to get a proper connection. I have similar issues on yet another machine that is running Debian 10. How can I solve this issue? Thank you.

On debian 10 it works . My FortiClient version is 6.4.3.0959 .

 Did you check the log ? What error appears in the log?

Try enable checkbox "Do not Warn Invalid Server Certificate" on FortiClient's VPN connection window.

Alternatively I use NetworkManager's fortisslvpn connection and it works just fine.
