Hi,
i have FortiManager VM 6.2
my fortigate machines are not in a single version so i added multiple ADOM's to support this issue,
after i upgrade the remote fortigate unit, is there a way to move the machine to other ADOM without deleting the machine (and deleting all the history) ?
fixed: ADOM's
Thanks
Rotem
Hello,
VDOM or ADOM ? ---i added multiple VDOM's , I think you meant ADOMs , right?
There is a feature, it is called "ADOM Mode --->Advanced" then you can have individual VDOMs to different ADOM.
Let me know if you find it useful.
System Settings--->Advanced--->Advanced Settings--->ADOM MODE
Cheers
Hi,
yes! i am sorry i ment ADOM and not VDOM,
i am already in the advanced mode in the FortiManager,
how can i transfer machine from one ADOM into a different one ?
Thanks
Hello,
1) Create a back up of your FMG before any changes.
2)System settings--->All ADOMs--->Select and Edit the ADOM which is your target move
3)Click on the "+Select Device" , you will see the Select Device Menu on your right side.
4)Select the Devices (or VDOMs) which you are looking to move. 5)Confirm this move by pressing "ok"
Please do not forget to score this if you find it helpful.
