I have an FVC-100T connected to a PRI and am having a strange issue with service announcements from the phone company. If a user dials a number incorrectly then the phone system rings forever and we never hear an announcement from the phone company saying to check the number and try again. The T1 provider says this:
our switch is routing the call to an announcement stating (It is not necessary to dial a 1 etc....). However in the D-channel trap from your PBX we are getting an extra facility message with caller ID name, our switch responds to that message and your PBX resonds with Error #101, Message Incompat w/ Call State. We suspect your PBX is not opening up the audio path due to the error message. Can you set your PBX to no longer send the caller ID name?
Is there any way to disable sending the caller ID name on this device?
Thanks, Jason
