I currently have a campus network with a standalone Fortigate 200E. It uses fortilink to manage 25 FortiSwitches and 35 FortiAPs. I just purchased 2 Fortigate 200Fs that I plan on configuring in HA. What is the best way to replace the 200E with the new fortigate pair? I will need the new Fortigate pair to start managing all of the FortiSwitches and FortiAPs.
Another option is to leave the existing Fortigate 200E in place temporarily, and add the new Fortigate 200F pair to the network as well. Then, move the management of the FortiSwitches and FortiAPs to the new FGT pair.

hi,
i think the latter plan is good and should be done in phases rather one whole change.
pre-stage/configure first the new 200F HA pair then move over fortilink/MGMT.
migrate the ISP links on the next phase, making sure each ISP link (and if using BGP) works after migrating to the new 200F.
How do I move the fortilink/mgmt in phases? I am not sure how to accomplish this?
