FortiGate 40F for small office and childcare facility?

We are looking to upgrade the network at our daycare center. Our main issue is just having a good firewall that can handle basic internet capabilities for roughly 30-40 devices (additional features are unnecessary for our purposes). Unfortunately, as a childcare center, where salary accounts for 80% of our expenses, budgeting is an issue. Budget for first hardware: $1000-1500. The annual licensing budget is restricted to $400.

This should be something to ask a Sales Engineer, or local distributor. They can best advise you about sizing. If no firewall (UTM) features are used, then it would probably be a good size.
