FortiClient EMS - Admin login - Change Password

Every time I log into EMS it says my password is not secure and needs to be changed.

We are integrated into AD. I am logging in with my AD account.

What makes no sense is when I type in the password I am using currently, it says it is secure.


Why the EMS server telling me that my password is both secure and insecure?


My existing password already meets all listed criteria.  This annoying screen prompts me every time I log into EMS.






Your password must be

  • At least 8 characters long

    And has 3 out of the 4 following:

  • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • At least one number (0-9)
  • At least one symbol (e.g. !$#%)
