Find a mac on a port?

Hi - was wondering how to find a mac in the cam table;

You could then see which port the switch has learnt that mac. 

The Cisco command is "show mac-address-table | sect <Mac>

Then show ip arp | sect <mac> To see the IP

Basically I need to be able to find the IP assigned to a mac on the switch.

I'm controlling it all from the fortigate though so it would be good to be able to just look from the fortiGate.

If you use Device Detection on the Fortigate interface, you should see devices along with their mac adress in Switch controller/Fortiswitch ports, then it's IP in User and Devices/ Device Inventory
