FSSO Workstation IP Change

Our FortiGate 60E connections to a Collector Agent, which polls via Windows NetAPI. We have a web control policy which allows all http/https traffic to the internet to a user group.

 

When a user connected to the Lan everything works fine. When they undock their laptop, and connect via WiFi and get a new IP address, they have to wait anywhere from 1-5 minutes before they can use the internet again. I believe that this is due to the IP change. Is there anything that can be done to speed this up?

 

The settings in our Agents are as followed.

Workstation verify interval : 5

Dead Entry timeout verify interval: 480

IP address change verify interval: 30
