Dear All,
I would like to create an IPsec VPN tunnel so I can connect to a transparent-mode VDOM from a VPN client (not site-to-site). I have not found any examples of client-to-transparent-VDOM IPsec VPN configurations in the FortiNet documentation; am I to assume this is not possible?
If it is true the above is not possible, I would like to try a different route: create an IPsec VPN tunnel on a NAT-mode VDOM on the same firewall to connect using a client, and then use an inter-VDOM link to give access to the transparent-mode VDOM from the VPN connected to the NAT-mode VDOM. I have tried to set this up, but I cannot seem to find the right combination of rules to allow the traffic to flow through the inter-VDOM link. Has anyone successfully made this work?
Thank you for your help.
