Broadcast over security zones

Hi all, Ive bought a Fortiwifi 40c for my home to get more in depth knowledge on the fortios than i get at work. I want to keep the wifi network separate from the wire network, and i know of an issue im going to have because of this. i have a wireless printer/scanner (Cannon MX410), the printer is not a problem, im going to set it as if it was a printer server and that should work. The problem is with the scanner, i assume that when someone scans a document, the device sends a broadcast to find a computer with the drivers/software. theres only one PC that uses the scanner, but theres no way to manually set where to send scans. i had a different security device before and couldnt figure out a way to make that work. Hopefully, someone here knows a way to get it to work with FortiOS? Regards, Amit K.

you will have policies between the wired and wireless networks, enable any any both ways and scan, look at the logs of what traffic is going where (for discovery and storage) then tie down the policy to just that traffic
