Hi experts,
This is my first post ever on this forum.
We moved our on premises server to Azure cloud. We have two networks in our company.
One is without firewall say network-1 and other after a firewall say network-2.
We want to mount File folder from Azure cloud to our PC(map as network drive) that is connected after network-2, it requires port 445 and SMB 3.0 Folder sharing service. It fails to mount.
However, on network-1 it mounts successfully where the network is not firewalled.
I believe we have to open port that is 445 to enable this file sharing to Azure cloud.
Please help me... I am stucked.
you have to create a VPN from on prem to azure to have any luck of getting this to work. dont open 445 to the internet.
