Just noticed that the support site knowledge centre has changed and been
replaced by a different application. Seems to be more content and a
better search tool. Was a long time coming! Lets hope they work t fill
Try opening a customer service ticket with Fortinet and asking them to
register the device to you. I think they reach out to the former owner
but will eventually transfer the device if they get no reply. Ho-ho.
The 6.2.1 release notes clearly do not mention Catalina as being

I would think that if you transfer the contract from the "broken" unit
to the cold-standby then you will not be able to create an RMA request
for the "broken" unit as it will no longer have a contract.
