Does FortiOS 7.4 provide an option to show the firewall policy as
ordered in "show firewall policy". If not I could script a bookmarklet
to show that policy in the WebUI similar to this.

is to create a VPN community object within Check Point's SmartConsole
and then head over to the FortiGate and configure the VPN there as well?

mentions Check Point nor any Best Practices regarding a VPN setup
between FortiGate and Check Point.
Can you exec ping www.google.com or exec traceroute www.google.com to
verify if DNS resolve works?Alternatively you can also add the DNS
