How to check IPS/antivirus signature are up to date
Hi All,
How can we verify if IPS/antivirus signature are up to date in Fortigate firewall.

I recommend to verify this within your FortiGate WebUI under System > FortiGuard.

You can run "diagnose autoupdate versions" on fortigate and then compare the db versions with the latest pupblished on Fortiguard (https://www.fortiguard.com/services/antivirus).
For example, below output shows the AV db version on my FGT is "Version: 91.07944" and the screenshot from Fortiguard shows the same was released an hour ago and there is one more version available now.

Compare your current version with the latest version published on Fortiguard ips section - https://www.fortiguard.com/services/ips
