Description
This article describes how read-only access will be enforced when logging in on FortiGate via FortiGate Cloud without a paid subscription. Note the notification icon 'An active FortiGate Cloud subscription could not be found. Access to this device will be read-only'.
Scope
FortiGate v7.0.14 or higher, v7.2.8 or higher, v7.4.2 or higher.
Solution
Subscribe for the paid subscription. See the FortiGate Cloud data sheet for more information.
Remote access with read and write rights through FortiGate Cloud now requires a paid FortiGate Cloud subscription. The FortiGate can still be accessed in a read-only state with the free tier of FortiGate Cloud. Alternatively, FortiGate can be accessed through its web interface. Fortinet Sales/Partner can be contacted for details on purchasing a FortiGate Cloud Service subscription license.
The user should be interested in purchasing the FortiGate Cloud Service subscription for the FortiGates. Contact the Customer Service team, who will then forward an email to the FortiGate Cloud team to request a temporary lift of the enforcement.
