This article describes how to view logs sent from the local FortiGate to the FortiGate Cloud. In this example, the local FortiGate has the following configuration under Log & Report -> Log Settings.

Solution |
If the FortiGate is attached to the same FortiCloud and FortiGate Cloud account, the portal is also accessible: Log in to Fortinet Support and navigate to Services -> FortiGate Cloud.
If using the new FortiGate Cloud Layout, hover over the device until a pop-up appears and select 'Device View'. Select the desired event type under Logview and select the Logs tab.
The Logs are now visible.

Note: Since Feb 28, 2025: for a FortiGate device without an active FortiGate Cloud subscription, it is required that the device is updated to the latest firmware patch within 7 days of a new GA patch release to continue using this feature (FortiGate Cloud logging).
