Troubleshooting Tip: 'Endpoint Control' feature not visible under Feature Visibility after upgrade to FortiOS v7.4.0

Description	This article describes the reason the 'Endpoint Control' option is not available under Feature Visibility after an upgrade to FortiOS v7.2.9 or above. This is intentional.
Scope	FortiGate, Feature Visibility.
Solution	Up to FortiOS v7.2.8, under Security Features in Feature Visibility, there is an option to enable/disable the Endpoint Control in the GUI.  The view is as follows: The same configuration in the CLI is as follows: config system settings set gui-endpoint-control  enable Enable endpoint control on the GUI. disable Disable endpoint control on the GUI. end Starting from v7.2.9, the view under Feature Visibility is as follows: The 'Endpoint Control' feature has been removed as seen in the picture above. The option is also not visible in the CLI as well: config system setting set gui-endpoint-control command parse error before 'gui-endpoint-control' Command fail. Return code -61 end The reason for this change is that as ZTNA already includes Endpoint Control functions, so the Endpoint Control switch button from Feature Visibility page has been removed. Under system settings in the CLI, gui-endpoint-control and gui-endpoint-control-advanced are no longer available as well.
