We are new with Fortimanager and would like to know if there is anything
special about upgrading two Fortigates that are in High Availability
mode. I don't see any special instructions in the user guide, so I
assume Fortimanager knows how to handle t...
We opened a second office and have a static VPN tunnel between a 100E
and a 60E. Both firewalls are on firmware 6.0.2. In all cases, traffic
passes normally across the tunnel with the exception of fortigate email
alerts. Email alerts generated by the...
I upgraded our Fortigate 100E to from 5.4.8 to 5.6.2 then 5.6.3 and
after the update, none of the managed APs are working. I'm assuming I
should have upgraded the APs first? What can I do now?
Hi, We run a network of about 100 fortigates, last night we had an
attempted SSH logon from 62.75.162.91 on about half of them. These all
occured on 11/12 at exactly 6:14pm CT. We are trying to determine if we
were targeted (but I have no idea how so...
Anyone have a theory about the 80C? I see that Fortinet is selling 5
year renewals for the 80C which usually tells me that it is nowhere near
end-of-life. It seems really unusual that Fortinet would be supporting
the 80C when they also have the 80D a...
Well I figured it out, can't believe it took me this long. For some
reason, after the firewall upgrade, the time was off on the Fortigate.
This is despite the fact that it is set to get its time automatically
from the fortiguard NTP servers. It could...
Under "Managed FortiAPs" the STATE is down and no one can connect to it.
The AP has an IP address and I can ping it, so I no there are no network
issues. I've run execute wireless-controller restart-acd per a KB
article, still no go.
I did check the version of the APs first. They were on 5.4.4 and the
release notes for the Fortigate upgrade said the APs had to be on at
least 5.4.2.I have now upgraded one of the APs via the CLI to the same
version as the Fortigate and it still is ...
Oh no, I would never buy one. We have several, would love to get them
replaced, but unless they are EOL I can't get it approved from
higher-ups. We are a small non-prof, so they actually do the job for us.
Just debating if we should renew for 5 years...
. Correct, the FGT in question does NOT appear in the results of diag
fortilogd msgrate-device . Yes, I will upgrade the FGT to 5.4.5 probably
tomorrow night. We usually like to test new versions on some of our
smaller FGTs first, so I will do those ...
