Bought the VM Analyzer and bring it up online to the same version and
patch level as the 1000B that is now out of support. Question is - can I
simply backup the 1000B and then restore the config over on the VM FAZ?
Since it is virtual, we figured to ...
I have just received the redemption certificate for a recent FortiToken
Mobile purchase and see that the first requirement is to make sure that
the FortiGate is connected to the internet. Our units are buried into
process control networks that do not...
Since the upgrade, I no longer have the report template for PCI
Compliance that I had in MR3. While there is a Wireless PCI Compliance
template, can somebody help me figure out how to either find the old one
or customize one of the others to continue...

into the new analyzer.
Thanks. The units are physically isolated into a non-internet
environment so it is not possible to establish a connection - even a
temporary one. In v4MR3, we had a 2-factor method that used email. In
v5.0.9, it has gone to FortiToken only and theref...
Thanks for the response. It is great to see what you have done as I
suspect that I will have to use some of your work. The report was a PCI
Compliance report and was separate from the PCI Wireless Compliance
report that remains. The scanner would all...
I did essentially the same upgrade path on a FGT-620B and found that the
vulnerability scanner was gone. Turns out that there is a smaller one
now in the FGT and the one in the FAZ is totally gone. I made the jump
based on the versions in the release...
Another thanks - in that I had a pre-login banner set it 4MR3 and it
transferred to v5.0.6. I cannot find anywhere in the GUI that allows
modification. CLI it is. --Ron
