What is the difference between: diag debug crashlog getand diag debug
crashlog read I have been working on diagnosing an strange problem.
FortiNet support repeatedly asks for the output of "diag debug crashlog
read" however on the affected system the...
Is there a way to perform the "Import Policy" operation on multiple
firewalls at the same time? We have roughly 500 firewalls registered to
a FortiManager. I would like to import policy from them without having
to right-click each one and select "imp...
Is anyone else seeing "FortiClient Logging Daemon" consuming a lot of
CPU after applying this week's Windows 10 patches? After I patched today
I began to see periodic (not constant) spike in CPU usage. These usually

Has something changed regarding the LDAP service or schema in FAC 4.1? I
have been experimenting with FAC 4.1 in my lab environment. In my lab I

the VMs are 5.2.7 or various versions ...
I use FortiAuthenticator v4.1.0 with FortiGate 100Ds on FortiOS 5.4.0
and with FortiGate-VMs on FortiOS 5.2.7 and FortiOS 5.4.0. So far, all
is well except for the non-functional local LDAP service on FAC
(supposed to be fixed in the upcoming v4.1.1)...
I see this on my own systems and on my client's as well. From what I can
tell it occurs when an AV update occurs and the service is restarted.
FortiNet support will typically advise clients on how to disable
notifications in Windows 10 (right click o...
